Bujo Web Portfolio
I designed the portfolio website for BUJO, an audiovisual company that lacked a clear and effective way to showcase its work. The main goal was to create a structure that not only displayed their projects, but also encouraged continuous exploration within the site, keeping users engaged with new content.
To achieve this, I developed an architecture centered around a project detail page, where each audiovisual piece has its own dedicated space for viewing, description, and credits. Each project includes a tab-based navigation system that allows users to explore similar projects, featured work, and related categories without leaving the page. Additional links to featured and related projects are also surfaced at the bottom of each page, creating an internal navigation flow that drives organic circulation across the portfolio.
Visually, the design takes BUJO’s core idea — revealing the subtle, meticulously crafted side of audiovisual work: the details, the atmosphere, and the moments others might overlook — and translates it into a minimal, immersive, and slightly mysterious interface. Strong composition, generous negative space, and a careful use of typography and motion help keep the focus on the imagery while reinforcing a sense of mystique and precision. The result is a portfolio that feels captivating and cinematic, aligned with BUJO’s identity and their commitment to highly crafted visual storytelling.
